If you’re like most companies, you may often wonder how to gain an advantage in the marketplace.  With more studies showing that state residents not only prefer locally-grown products, but are actually willing to pay more for them, now could be a great time to incorporate marketing “Wisconsin” into your advertising and promotions.  How do you do this?  Join Something Special from Wisconsinä!   For over 20 years, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection has provided the program to assist Wisconsin companies with marketing genuine Wisconsin products or services.  By joining, you purchase the right to use the highly recognized trademark to create instant recognition of quality and integrity people associate with our state.  The logo can be used on:  signs, banner, packaging, web sites, pamphlets, buttons, etc. 

Other benefits include: 

• Trade show exhibitions at a reduced cost.

• Free bi-monthly newsletters that offer marketing tips and information on the latest consumer trends and demands.

• Your business featured in a hard copy and online SSfW directory.  This is valuable free advertising that has the potential to reach a large number of consumers.

• The chance to have Wisconsin’s own Alice in Dairyland market your product or service on television and radio during the winter holiday.

• A generous variety of free buttons, signs, stickers, and merchandise with the SSfW logo it for you to use when you become a new member.   Additional merchandise can be ordered.
