The Objectives of the Association is to work for the advancement and improvement of the Meat Processing industry by encouraging and fostering high ethical standards of good business practices in the industry and the cooperation of all engaged in the industry by the interchange of ideas and business methods as a means of increasing efficiency and usefulness of the industry to the general public.The organizations main purpose is working for the benefit and protection of small and medium sized meat firms. This Association, with its enviable record of accomplishments, speaks effectively for the independent meat plant operators in the regulatory agencies and the state legislature. The only requirement for membership is an active involvement in the meat industry. There is no need to stand alone in a ever changing industry.
