Olsen's Sausage Shoppe

The Olsen family moved to Green Bay from Upper Michigan in December of 1986 and purchased the original Blazei's Meat Market and Sausage Shop, which had the reputation as one of the finest meat markets in Northeast Wisconsin. The meat and sausage tradition was started in 1934 by Ted Blazei and continued by his sons John and Carl.

The Olsen family wanted to continue the tradition of the finest meats and sausages, so with the help of John and Carl Blazei we were taught the basics of sausage making and the famous Recipe Book was handed down.

Our success continued to grow with the addition of many new products which we have added over the past 18 years. Our best sellers are Smoked Hot Dogs, Brats Porkies, Hams, Bacon, Ring Bologna, Polish and Snack Sticks.

In the fall of 2002 the Olsen family took another giant step in the world of meats. A brand new 38000 sq. ft. Piggly Wiggly store was built featuring our famous meat tradition with 80 feet of full service meat and deli cases. We also have added state-of-the-art, government inspected sausage kitchen and smokehouse.
